Control the Gallery modes in top right corner - folders : music (mute) : browse or view mode : full screen
Autoplay is set to 5 seconds : double click any image to change mode : magnify in Browse Mode in the Preview window - choose full screen (top right) then drag divider bars for large Preview window & use the + icon. There is an older Gallery here
